It is the philosophy of PB Cosmetology Education Centre that no student should be restricted from attending school because of limited financial resources.
Each year, approximately three-quarters of PB students receive some form of financial assistance. The Title IV Financial Aid Programs have been developed to assist students in reaching their educational goals.

For a more detailed explanation of Financial Aid, please contact our Financial Aid Office.
Applying for Financial AidYou may apply for financial aid at the same time you apply for admission to PB Cosmetology Education Centre. The school may make a financial aid award prior to you starting the course. However, no financial aid payments will be made until you have started your classes.
Available Financial Aid ProgramsThe PB Office of Financial Aid offers three basic programs of financial aid. Most offers to students are made up of a combination of these sources of aid and are referred to as the student's financial aid package. Financial Aid is available only to those students that qualify.
ScholarshipsStudents in their last year of high school may participate in PB Cosmetology Education Centre's High School Scholarship Program. The scholarship is merit-based. Students must participate in an academic exam, an interview, write an essay, and submit two letters of recommendation and their high school transcript. PB awards one full tuition scholarship, one half tuition scholarship, and many partial tuition scholarships. The awards are contingent upon the successful completion of the cosmetology course by the student. The school may from time to time, select other applicants for partial or full tuition scholarships, in which case candidate selection is at the discretion of the School Director. Scholarships are only available for students applying for admission into the Cosmetology Program and Teacher’s Program.
Student LoansStudent loans are often a part of the student's financial aid package. The Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFEL) allows students to borrow now and pay later. Student loans are processed through a state institution and a state guarantee agency.
Students participating in a federal loan program are given a six month grace period after graduation before repayment begins. Most student loans offer a five to ten year repayment schedule.
